TEAM NEWS FOR LOCAL DERBY AS PEGASUS VISIT

Khalsa go into there second game in three days as Corby Pegasus visit.
After Tuesday nights reverse Khalsa will be looking to bounce back in the local derby.

Billy Mcluckie, Junior Campbell, Alan Campbell and Clive Morgan are added to the squad.
With Danny Spencer, Jamie Mclellan and Nathan Gasson all out.

BRIXWORTH TOO STRONG FOR KHALSA

Brixworth continued there pursuit of the Premier championship as they proved too strong in defeating a brave Khalsa side 3-1.
The visitors were two up at the break that after Cox, Wilson and Spencer missed chances for Khalsa.
Brixworth made it 3-0 just after the break before Michael Allen save a penalty and Andrew Cox converted for Khalsa from the penalty spot to leave the final score at 3-1.

TEAM NEWS AS BRIXWORTH VISIT

Khalsa have the task of playing twice within a three day period with Brixworth the visitors.
Team News sees notable absentees still within the squad with Jazz Saini and Steve McCabe missing alongside Gary Park.
Returning to the 1st team fold is Andy Wilson, Nathan Gasson, Joe Bennett and David Lindsay who all missed the win at Queen Eleanor last week.
Though Khalsa have the opportunity to use the reserve squad as well.

SHERIDAN LEADS THE WAY AS RESERVES WIN

HT 1-0

Young striker David Sheridan was the hero for Khalsa Reserves with a goal in either half.
Khalsa arrived for the contest knowing that 6 more points will ensure safety for the season as they look for a top 6 finish in the final weeks of the season.
With a hard ground and hot conditions the game was never a classic but Khalsa were professional in the approach and were duly rewarded when David Sheridan was pulled back by the Milton defender to earn a penalty which he stepped up and converted.
Khalsa created other chances but indecision ensured the contest stayed close until David Sheridan ran through to slot home for 2-0.

All in all a good day at the office with all the lads playing a prominent role in the victory.

TEAM NEWS FOR EARLY KICK OFF FOR THE RESERVES AT MILTON

Khalsa Reserves travel to Milton for a 1pm kick off tomorrow.
The reserves will be looking to bounce straight back after there unfortunate 2-1 defeat to Harborough.
Assistant Manager Dave Thurman said "Three points for the lads will send the boys one win away from safety".
Murray, Carr, Forsyth, Reid, Duncan, Mcpherson, Morgan, Gasson, Wilson(A), Park, Carvalho, Taylor, Campbell, King.
Players and Officials to meet at 11am at Corby Rugby Club - (Kick Off 1pm)

CLINICAL KHALSA SEE OF ELEANOR

Khalsa were given the tough task of travelling over to Queen Eleanor for a midweek game but managed to come away with a super 4-1 win despite missing numerous first team players.
Absent from the squad was injured players Saini, Mcabe, Bennett with Lindsay, Wilson, Gasson and Park all working.
But Khalsa played some super football at times and taking a deserved lead into the first minute when Andrew Cox back heel was smashed home by David Sheridan.
Khalsa soon doubled the lead when Andrew Cox rolled home for 2-0.
QE then pulled a goal back just before the break but Khalsa came out and finished the contest in fine style when Dean King super ball was converted by David Sheridan for 3-1.
The seal was put on the game when Andrew Cox too finished off his 2nd of the game and Khalsa's 4th.
A massive well done to the squad considering so many absentees but more than capable of putting a performance in like what was seen over here.

KHALSA RESERVES JUST EDGED OUT

Khalsa were just edged out in an entertaining contest against top 3 side Harborough Town Reserves 2-1.
A game dominated by good attacking football from both sides saw Harborough take the lead before the break.
However Nathan Gasson posted his entry for goal of the season with a excellent finish into the top corner to level the game.
Khalsa then missed the chance to get in front when Junior Campbell's spot kick was saved.
A huge opportunity missed and Harborough won it with a neat finish to complete the scoring.

CAPTAIN CYRILLE PUTS THE SEAL ON KHALSA'S WIN

Khalsa Reserves picked up three valuable points to make it 2 wins in a row.
Striker Junior Campbell hit a brace with Mark Watson heading home before Captain Sorrel Carr ghosted in to put the seal on the performance for his first goal for the club.

RUB OF THE GREEN ELUDES KHALSA AS THEY GO DOWN

Khalsa will look back at this game as a chance to steer away from relegation was lost.
Norpole scored two goals inside the first 25 minutes when lapses cost them dear.
However Khalsa thought they got back into the game when Joe Bennett's free kick was nodded in by Nathan Gasson only for a dubious offside flag ruling it out.
Khalsa were not to be denied when great work by Carvalho and Bradley set up Joe Bennett to bundle home for 1-2
The second half saw Khalsa create some good chances with Joe Bennett denied by the flag when he chipped the keeper.
Norpole however made the game safe with ten minutes to go to win 3-1.

Overall with a injury ravaged squad Khalsa can take some heart from the performance.

Khalsa Reserves produced a solid performance to defeat Bugbrooke 3-0 with goals coming from David Sheridan and two late strikes by Dean King and Jamie Mclellan to finish the scoring.

LACK OF CONCENTRATION COSTS RESERVES

Khalsa came away after falling to a 2-1 defeat.
Chenecks took the lead but Khalsa came back after a neat finish by Mark Watson to level the game.
Though straight from Kick off the home side went up the other end to hit the winner.

KHALSA FALL TO HARBOROUGH

An injury hit Khalsa despite a resolute effort finally fell to a 5-1 reverese to Harborough Town.
Khalsa having lost personnel through injury in the lead up to the game were dealt further problems when influential skipper Jazz Saini was carried off with a knee injury.
The visitors duly took the lead from a mix up before despite a great stop by Michael Allen found themselves 2-0 down.
Khalsa responded with Andy Wilson scoring on his return to the side to reduce the deficit.
This gave Khalsa the belief to attack and saw chances from Bradley, Wilson, Carvalho go begging before the break.
The half time whistle came as relief for the visitors with Khalsa on top of the contest.
Again second half began Khalsa put the visitors on the backfoot with Carvalho and Wilson both going close again before the game turned in favour of the visitors when they made it 3-1 before two further goals killed the game and the scoreline for 5-1.
A bad day at the office with further injury worries with Joe Bennett and Jazz Saini joining Steve McCabe on the treatment table, though better news sees David Lindsay returning next weekend.

TEAM NEWS AS 1ST TEAM HOST HARBOROUGH TOWN AND RESERVES TRAVEL TO O.N CHENECKS

Khalsa FC will look to continue there form with the reserves looking to record a third win on the bounce as they travel to O.N Chenecks.
The 1st team host Harborough Town in there second game in 3 days after taking a well deserved point from Medbourne.
Team News sees Gary Park, Bethel Ofoshune and Craig Hall return to the squad with Michael Allen, Jamie Mcpherson and Victor Carvalho being retained by the 1st team squad.
Also returning to the mix is Andy Wilson after suspension.

LATE GOAL DENIES KHALSA THE WIN

Khalsa produced a solid professional performance to claim a point in this midweek encounter against fourth placed Medbourne.
The visitors created two chances in the first half with Burrows and Mawsby failing to hit the target.
With Khalsa spurning two chances as well with Miller forcing a save and Cox firing wide when clean through.
With the game deadlocked at the break Khalsa came more and more into the game and were finally rewarded when Joe Bennett's cross field ball to Carvalho who beat two men before being bought down to earn Khalsa a penalty.
Skipper Jazz Saini stepped up to fire home the penalty to give Khalsa a 1-0 lead on 75 minutes.
The visitors to there credit came forward and looked like netting but for a super block by Jamie Mcpherson to preserve the lead.
However the visitor were not to be denied when they equalised on 84 minutes with a far post finish.
All in all probably a fair result, but Khalsa will feel two points dropped when conceding so late in the game.

Khalsa Reserves completed a league double over Gretton with a superb 4-0 win.
Man Of The Match Mark Watson got the ball rolling with a super goal to make it 1-0.
Khalsa almost at every opportunity created chances as they went forward
The all important second goal came from an unlikely source when Nathan Gasson turned and finished to make it 2-0.
Victor Carvalho finished off for the 3-0 from a great ball from Nathan Gasson.
The seal was put on the game when Victor Carvalho's cross was headed in by Mark Watson to finish the scoring.
A fantastic performance by Khalsa as they make it 2 wins on the spin.

Khalsa Reserves netted a valuable three points with a well deserved performance against Gretton.
Steve McCabe stepped forward to head Khalsa in front before the visitors equalised.
Though Khalsa were not to be denied when Victor Carvalho produced some nice skill to lash home the winner.
All in all a good performance though the result could have been better for Khalsa but for some wayward finishing from the front men.

Khalsa recent good form came to an end as visitors Milton nicked a late goal to take the points.
Early exchanges saw Khalsa miss a few chances with Cox and Gasson going close.
With the score deadlocked at the break the visitors took the lead courtesy of a penalty.
However Khalsa responded when Joseph Bennett knocked home the loose ball to make it 1-1
Both teams missed chances but the visitors took the most important one with a scrappy finish as Khalsa failed to clear there lines.
