Punjab had a couple of shouts for a penalty that they never got.
Flamingo then managed to pierce the Punjab rearguard with keeper Bobby Bhandal making a superb reflex save to ensure Punjab kept there lead.

Flamingo then had a corner that skipper Paul Hetherington cleared with Gary Park chasing down for a counter attack, the Flamingo back four made an error which top marksman Andrew Cox duly finished off by sliding under the keeper to make it 2-0.

Claudio Pitra as stand in striker was kicked around but did superbly to keep the team ticking over alongside a very impressive Duncan Homer and Chris Bright.

Just 17 seconds into the second half Gary Wilson and Claudio Pitra combined to set up Chris Bright for a lovely 20 yard finish to make it 3-0.

Flamingo just couldn't cope with the quick movement of the ball and some of Simon Kent's deliveries that should have produced more goals.

With 20 minutes to go Andrew Cox was bought down in the box and Duncan Homer stepped up to lash home his 2nd goal of the game and his 6th of the season.
