CLINICAL KHALSA SEE OF ELEANOR

Corby Khalsa 4 Queen Eleanor 1
David Sheridan (2)
Andrew Cox (2)

HT 2-1

Khalsa were given the tough task of travelling over to Queen Eleanor for a midweek game but managed to come away with a super 4-1 win despite missing numerous first team players.
Absent from the squad was injured players Saini, Mcabe, Bennett with Lindsay, Wilson, Gasson and Park all working.
But Khalsa played some super football at times and taking a deserved lead into the first minute when Andrew Cox back heel was smashed home by David Sheridan.
Khalsa soon doubled the lead when Andrew Cox rolled home for 2-0.
QE then pulled a goal back just before the break but Khalsa came out and finished the contest in fine style when Dean King super ball was converted by David Sheridan for 3-1.
The seal was put on the game when Andrew Cox too finished off his 2nd of the game and Khalsa's 4th.
A massive well done to the squad considering so many absentees but more than capable of putting a performance in like what was seen over here.

Team:- Allen(M), Huseyin, Duncan, Evans, Spencer, Bradley, King, Sheridan, Carvalho, Mclellan, Cox. (subs:- Birk for Mclellan)

Khalsa Man Of The Match:- Tony Duncan
