TEAM NEWS FOR WELFORD VISIT

Winger Gary Wilson
Punjab will be looking to pick up three points against Welford Victoria in the midweek fixture.
Team News sees Gary Park ruled out with a thigh injury and Leon De La Huliniere is also out.
Returning to the squad sees Radolaw Ablewski, Bruce Calder, Julian Millington, Amaarpreet Singh, Nathan Gasson and Shaun Waite all in contention.
Arndre Jackson will also be available for Punjab.

PUNJAB TAKE DESERVED POINT FROM ROVERS

Punjab picked up a deserved point despite unluckily falling behind in the first half against relegation threatened Stanwick Rovers.
Punjab played with confidence with Chong, Walker, Pink and Wilson causing all sorts of problems for the home side with Man Of The Match Bethel Ofoshune marshaling the midfield in front of the back four.
Punjab thought they had taken a deserved lead when Gareth Walkers cross was turned in by Aston Pink but the joy was short lived because the referee blew for a push on the defender.
Stanwick took the lead when a long cross was turned in for 0-1 which finished the scoring in the first half.
Punjab came out in the second half with a changed system and straight from the off put Stanwick under pressure with Chong, Wilson and Walker all going close.
Substitute Victor Carvalho then delivered a corner that was turned in by Michael Chong for his 16th goal of the season.
Punjab missed other chances but came away with a point though counting the cost of injuries with Gary Park and Aston Pink both looking doubtful for Thursday's game at home to Welford Victoria.

TEAM NEWS FOR STANWICK ROVERS GAME

Winger Aston Pink has registered 10 goals this season so far
Punjab will go into this away game fixture versus Stanwick Rovers buoyed by a solid 3-1 win over Spratton FC last week.
Gareth Walker returns to the fold this week after missing last weeks win through an ankle knock.
A host of other names are missing from the squad this week with Garinder Birk, Nathan Gasson, Julian Millington and Radolow Ablewski all unavailable for the game.

PUNJAB BACK TO WINNING WAYS AS PINK GRABS BRACE

Punjab's starting line up showed 4 changes that lost last time out with Gareth Walker, Amrit Poonia, Sandeep Kumar and Julian Millington all making way for Gary Park, Michael Logue, Michael Chong and Gary Wilson.
Punjab produced a solid performance to see of Spratton and get back to winning ways with a 3-1 win over Spratton.
Punjab started brightly and were duly rewarded when Aston Pink's corner eluded everyone to go in to give Punjab a deserved 1-0 lead.
Spratton got back into the game when from a Punjab corner they broke away to level.
With Punjab playing nice football and creating plenty of chances via Pink, Logue and Chong.
Punjab were rewarded for there hardwork when Gary Park broke into the box only to be fouled which resulted in a penalty.
Up stepped Michael Chong to roll home the resulting spot kick to make it 2-1.
A defence that was well marshalled by Danny Spencer and Jazz Saini played a key role in the second half to minimise Spratton's chances.
Punjab wrapped the game up when Danny Spencer floated a free kick into the Spratton penalty area and Aston Pink flicked home the ball into the top corner to give Punjab a 3-1 lead and the three points.

TEAM NEWS FOR VISIT TO SPRATTON

Punjab will travel to Spratton this week hoping to end a run of three straight defeats. Punjab are delighted to welcome back Michael Logue, Michael Chong, Gary Park, Gary Wilson and Victor Carvalho to the squad.
The good news though is tarnished with the ankle injury that rules out Gareth Walker.
Julian Millington and Shaun Waite are also out.
