HONOURS EVEN AS PUNJAB MAINTAIN ADVANTAGE OVER WOOTON

Punjab starting line up showed 3 changes to the side that drew with James King Blisworth.
Michael Chong, Leo Taylor and Gary Wilson coming in for Michael Logue, Aston Pink and Julian Millington missing out.
Punjab came away from there visit to Wooton St George with a well deserved point in a tight affair.
Both sides worked hard to create chances but all in all a draw was a fair result.

TEAM NEWS FOR BIG CLASH VERSUS WOOTON ST GEORGE

Striker Michael Chong - Back in Contention

Punjab enjoyed a good session in what is already billed as a huge "six pointer" versus Wooton St George.
Team news for the fixture sees the return to the squad of top marksman Michael Chong aswell as defender Bruce Calder.
Gary Wilson is added to the squad for the first time since early October having recovered from injury.
Missing from the squad this week Julian Millington, Victor Carvalho and Garinder Birk.

PUNJAB DRAW A BLANK DESPITE HATFUL OF CHANCES

Punjab starting line up showed 2 changes to the side that beat Earls Barton two weeks ago with Bethel Ofoshune and Julian Millington replacing Garinder Birk and Michael Chong.
Punjab missed a hatful of chances as James King Blisworth rode there luck to pick up a valuable point on there visit to Punjab.
With the game played in torrid conditions Punjab played some nice stuff but failed to force the breakthrough with Pink, Millington, Walker, Logue, Saini, Taylor all going close through the 90 minutes.
But the point sees Punjab move to the summit with an eagerly awaited clash away to Wooton St George on the horizon next week a huge fixture that Punjab will need to win to stay in contention.

TEAM NEWS FOR J.K. BLISWORTH GAME

Chris Sleafer... Settled in well to play a prominent role so far.
Punjab enjoyed a good training session in cold conditions for what awaits this weekend as James King Blisworth are the visitors.
The last time the two sides met on the opening day of the season Punjab grabbed the points in a close encounter 2-1.
Team News for the fixture sees Michael Chong, Bruce Calder (unavailable), Garinder Birk(Knee) all ruled out of this game.
However returning to the fold sees Victor Carvalho & Julian Millington back in the squad after missing the last couple of games each.
New signing Leo Taylor is added to the squad as Punjab look to maintain there impressive form.

WELFORD CLASH FALLS FOUL TO THE WEATHER

This weekend's clash away to Welford Victoria has fallen foul to the weather.
Despite trying to reverse the fixture the game is postponed.
Next up will be James King Blisworth at Home on the 13th December 2008.
However one Punjabi who will be in action is "Punjabi" the horse on Saturday if you fancy a flutter you should be able to get 11/8 on him as an early price this is the tip of the day from Defender Chris Francis.
