PUNJAB DRAW A BLANK DESPITE HATFUL OF CHANCES

Punjab United 0 James King Blisworth 0

HT0-0
Punjab starting line up showed 2 changes to the side that beat Earls Barton two weeks ago with Bethel Ofoshune and Julian Millington replacing Garinder Birk and Michael Chong.
Punjab missed a hatful of chances as James King Blisworth rode there luck to pick up a valuable point on there visit to Punjab.
With the game played in torrid conditions Punjab played some nice stuff but failed to force the breakthrough with Pink, Millington, Walker, Logue, Saini, Taylor all going close through the 90 minutes.
But the point sees Punjab move to the summit with an eagerly awaited clash away to Wooton St George on the horizon next week a huge fixture that Punjab will need to win to stay in contention.

Team:- De La Huliniere, Francis, Spencer, Walker, Ofoshune, Sleafer, Park, Logue, Saini(c), Pink, Millington. (Subs: Taylor for Sleafer 60mins; subs not used Oakley, Singh, Waite, Carvalho)

Man Of The Match:- Aston Pink - (Great running and did almost everything but score)
