KHALSA RESERVES EDGED OUT

Khalsa Reserves couldnt recover from a poor first half showing when they ended up being 2-0 down.
Victor Carvalho scored to reduce the arrears but to no avail in the end.

TEN MAN KHALSA DEFEATED IN LEAGUE OPENER

Khalsa counted the cost of 6-1 defeat after playing 75 minutes with ten men after the dismissal of Stephen Miller.
Though before the sending off two injuries didnt help the cause with Avnish Jani and David Mcintyre both leavin the field of play. Mcintyre (Knee) and AJ (Shin).
Khalsa though defended resolutely but Pegasus broke the deadlock right on halftime.
The only bright note was Joe Bennett opening his account for the season.

KHALSA COMPLETE SEASON AS HARPOLE TAKE THE POINTS

HT 1-3

Khalsa finished the season with a defeat to Harpole after finding themselves 3-0 down despite playing majority of the football.
Briefly they got back into the game when Alan Campbell curled home a great free kick for 1-3.
The referee all but finished the contest with an awful decision when two players tangled going for a loose ball that Harpole converted for 1-4.
Joe Bennett had the final word when he scored for 2-4 to finish the scoring.

KHALSA BEATEN AS HARBOROUGH WRAP UP THE TITLE

Corby Khalsa 0 Harborough Town 2

HT 0-2

Khalsa were beaten 2-0 as Harborough Town wrapped up the league title with a comfortable win.
Champions Harborough went a goal up inside 30 seconds.
The lead was doubled when the referee awarded Harborough a penalty which there skipper duly converted for 2-0.
Michael Allen made a string of super saves to keep the score down.
Khalsa very rarely threatened with Wilson and Carvalho going close

Khalsa despite leading 3-1 at the break pressed the self-destruct button to hand Harpole a 4-3 victory.

RESERVES ROUT PEGASUS

Khalsa totally blew away Pegasus with a convincing 6-1 win.
Alan Campbell led the way with a hat trick with Mark Watson adding a brace.
Greg Taylor also got onto the scoresheet.

KHALSA EASILY BEATEN BY MOULTON

Khalsa were beaten by Moulton 8-1 despite playing some good controlled football but each time Khalsa missed the chances Moulton punished them with some clinically finishing.
The only bright spot being Nathan Gasson strike that breifly gave them hope before the second half collapse.

TEN MEN KHALSA NARROWLY BEATEN

Khalsa made the trip to Roade for there second encounter in four days to come away with a 3-2 defeat despite battling well after being reduced to ten men when Gary Reid was red carded for violent conduct.
Liam Bradley and Andrew Wilson both scored two super goals but it wasnt to be enough as they lost 3-2.

INABILITY TO FINISH CHANCES COSTS RESERVES

Khalsa Reserves missed a host of chances to fall 3-1 to Roade.
At the break Khalsa were 2-0 down after some poor defending and goalkeeping.
The only bright spot being a long distance strike from Clive Morgan.

TEAM NEWS FOR LOCAL DERBY AS PEGASUS VISIT

Khalsa go into there second game in three days as Corby Pegasus visit.
After Tuesday nights reverse Khalsa will be looking to bounce back in the local derby.

Billy Mcluckie, Junior Campbell, Alan Campbell and Clive Morgan are added to the squad.
With Danny Spencer, Jamie Mclellan and Nathan Gasson all out.

BRIXWORTH TOO STRONG FOR KHALSA

Brixworth continued there pursuit of the Premier championship as they proved too strong in defeating a brave Khalsa side 3-1.
The visitors were two up at the break that after Cox, Wilson and Spencer missed chances for Khalsa.
Brixworth made it 3-0 just after the break before Michael Allen save a penalty and Andrew Cox converted for Khalsa from the penalty spot to leave the final score at 3-1.

TEAM NEWS AS BRIXWORTH VISIT

Khalsa have the task of playing twice within a three day period with Brixworth the visitors.
Team News sees notable absentees still within the squad with Jazz Saini and Steve McCabe missing alongside Gary Park.
Returning to the 1st team fold is Andy Wilson, Nathan Gasson, Joe Bennett and David Lindsay who all missed the win at Queen Eleanor last week.
Though Khalsa have the opportunity to use the reserve squad as well.

SHERIDAN LEADS THE WAY AS RESERVES WIN

HT 1-0

Young striker David Sheridan was the hero for Khalsa Reserves with a goal in either half.
Khalsa arrived for the contest knowing that 6 more points will ensure safety for the season as they look for a top 6 finish in the final weeks of the season.
With a hard ground and hot conditions the game was never a classic but Khalsa were professional in the approach and were duly rewarded when David Sheridan was pulled back by the Milton defender to earn a penalty which he stepped up and converted.
Khalsa created other chances but indecision ensured the contest stayed close until David Sheridan ran through to slot home for 2-0.

All in all a good day at the office with all the lads playing a prominent role in the victory.
