COXY STEPS OFF THE BENCH TO PRESERVE KHALSA'S UNBEATEN START
Khalsa 1 Milton 1
Andrew Cox
HT 0-1
Khalsa for the third game in a row had to come from behind to net a well earned away point versus Milton.
Khalsa for there early possession missed a host of chances with Noble, Sheridan going closest to breaking the deadlock.
Noble then unselfishly bought down an excellent cross from Dean Clark and elected to push the ball into Malone's path rather than go for goal which looked a better option.
However the home side took the lead after 40 minutes when an in swinging corner from the left was turned in by there frontman to make it 0-1 to Milton.
For all there early dominance Khalsa had fell to a sucker punch with half time approaching.
However a halftime change saw Andrew Cox replace David Sheridan and within five minutes of the re-start he fired home into the bottom left hand corner to give Khalsa a deserved equaliser.
Further chances created with Dean Clark pulling the strings and Darren Malone patrolling the centre midfield area.
The defensive unit so far this season has played well despite put under pressure at times.
However another point for Khalsa making it three straight draws in the league.
Team:- Mann, Mcluckie, Malone, Muir, Carr(c), Clark, Saini, Spencer, Sheridan, Noble, Walker.
Khalsa Man Of The Match:- Billy Mcluckie - Solid performance at the heart of the defence.
