Khalsa in the first half looked nervous and shaky with passes and clearances going all over the place.
Champions Harpole went in front when the winger converted to put them 1-0 up.
To be fair nothing less than the home side deserved after putting Khalsa rearguard under immense pressure.
Constant long throws and channel play giving them opportunities.
However just when it looked like Harpole had a firm grip on the game, Khalsa hit back when a lovely free kick from Calum Muir was headed on by Darren Malone and young winger David Sheridan half volleyed into the bottom corner to level matters at 1-1.
Though you would expect this to galvanise Khalsa it had an opposite effect almost immediately Harpole took the lead after a mix up in defence and the Harpole winger showed great composure to chip the ball over the advancing Lewis Everitt.
So at the break Khalsa were 2-1 down after a tactical re-shuffle Khalsa came flying out of the blocks to sting the Champions with a lovely goal within 32 seconds of the restart with David Sheridan beating two men playing a ball down the line to Dean Clark whose clever back heel fell into Sheridan who with his cross field pass to Andrew Cox gave him the chance to bring it down and strike into the bottom right corner for a well deserved equaliser.
This time though it did give Khalsa the belief they could snatch victory with chances going begging at both ends though in the end they had to settle for a 2-2 draw.
A good game and a well deserved point for Khalsa.
