Punjab starting line up showed one change to the side that beat Stanwick Rovers 2-1 last week with Chris Francis coming in for Bethel Ofoshune.
The game had plenty of incidents with Punjab denied a clear penalty when Jazz Saini was hauled down.
Michael Chong then went clear through with only the keeper to beat but he put the chance wide.
Punjab were then controversially denied the lead when Gareth Walker's free kick was met with a diving header from skipper Jazz Saini with the run so well timed it was a strange decision to say the least of a linesman's flag.
However the deserved breakthrough finally came right on the stroke of half time when Gareth Walker's free kick was flicked on by Chris Francis in turn Danny Spencer headed the ball back across the box for Aston Pink to head home for 1-0 at the break.
In the second half Earls Barton got level when a close range finish made the score 1-1.
Punjab went back in front when Jazz Saini's corner was headed home by Gareth Walker to make it 2-1.
Michael Chong made it 3-1 when a through ball from Garinder Birk was expertly chipped over the advancing keeper.
Aston Pink then grabbed the fourth when he latched onto a long headed clearance from Gareth Walker to head into the top left hand corner for 4-1.
Michael Chong then turned home Aston Pinks corner with a deft finish over the keeper for 5-1.
Earls Barton got a late consolation to finish the scoring at 5-2.
