RANELAGH TAKE THE POINTS FROM A LACKLUSTRE PUNJAB

Punjab suffered a shock defeat away to Wellingborough Ranelagh 3-1.
From the early exchanges Punjab produced many chances with the Ranelagh keeper in inspired form.
With Jazz Saini, Michael Chong, and Warren Barry all thwarted.
The game ended at 0-0 at the break.
The home side went one up when a free kick was headed home.
Punjab responded immediately when Jazz Saini was brought down by the Ranelagh keeper giving Skipper Paul Hetherington the chance to level from the spot.
Ranelagh converted another long ball for 2-1 before a defensive mix up was finished off for 3-1.
All in all a bad day at the office with title ambitions taking a jolt.
Other results from the day saw Finedon Volta lose but Cold Ashby leapfrogged Punjab into 2nd spot.

how can u give a man of the match to a defender who let three crap goals past him ,the whole team played rubbish u cant give a man of match for that performance,the club needs to look hard at training to even think about winning the next game

Well he was the best of an average bunch today ...anyway....whoever you are should think about your performanace rather than worry about who got MOTM...

to much bi*ching going on and yeah i do own up to most of it on the pitch so im sorry,but guys we need to get going again .play for a the team and keep your head on your own game instead of reminding me all the time that i havent scored and others not defending well ,anyway lets get that teamspirt back that we had and start stuffing teams and enjoy winning again

Time to deliver for the gaffer and also the man sitting behind bars who uses his minimal credit to find out how we do on a saturday...

Our gaffer gets things sorted out
from friday lunchtime...and prepares us for the games well...

Remember come end of April we do not wana have any regrets on what could and should have been...

League and Cup double is still on
