COXY LEADS THE WAY AS PUNJAB CRUISE INTO ROUND 4.

Punjab line up showed 3 changes to the side that lost to Wollaston.
Bobby Bhandal, Garinder Birk and Michael Logue came in for Amaarpreet Singh, Stewart Hetherington and Gary Park.

Punjab enjoyed a comfortable passage into round 4 with an 8-4 win.
Victor Carvalho got the ball rolling when his corner evaded everyone and hit the net for 1-0.
Skipper Paul Hetherington made it 2-0 when he headed home an Andrew Cox corner for 2-0.
Kingscliffe pulled one back for 2-1 after a slight mix up.
A long range effort from Garinder Birk was too hot for the keeper and as it dropped Andrew Cox knocked it over the line to send Punjab in 3-1 up at the break.

In the second half Andrew Cox made it 4-1 with a neat finish.
Victor Carvalho smashed home a shot from the edge of the box for 5-1.
Hassan Mumin finally ended his goal drought with a great lob for 6-1.

Punjab then introduced Full Back Govinder Shergill for Skipper Paul Hetherington.
The visitors then got two quick fire goals to make it 6-3.
Punjab then introduced Winger Warren Barry on his return from injury to replace Victor Carvalho.
Andrew Cox went through for his hat trick with a clinical lob for 7-3.
The visitors pulled another back for 7-4.
The final sub Duncan Homer arrived replacing Chris Bright and instantly making an impression with his first touch feeding Andrew Cox to hit his fourth and his 20th of the season to make it 8-4.
