Punjab enjoyed a well controlled performance to see of Kettering Orchard Park 2-0 to grab 3 vital points in the quest for promotion.

A truly professional performance from all aspects of there play was rewarded when striker Hassan Mumin crossed from the left wing and strike partner Andrew Cox headed home from 6yards to open the scoring.

The Punjab rearguard was in good form and well shielded by the excellent Chris Bright and Michael Logue making his first start in over a month.

In the second half Punjab created numerous chances with Hassan Mumin adjudged to be in an offside position when he finished off an excellent six man move.

This really ignited the drive within to make sure the game was won and Andrew Cox obliged with a brilliant 20 yard volley through a crowd of players that arrowed into the bottom right corner for 2-0.

Hassan Mumin was again denied a goal by the linesman's flag and Punjab missed a couple of other good chances, but the 3 points were picked up.
