Punjab were made to rue missed chances as Burton United defended well to snatch 3 vital points in a hot day.

Punjab wasted around 3 good chances before Burton converted a corner which was well headed home by Andy Lingley.

Punjab made numerous chances but found the Burton keeper in no mood to be beaten.

The Punjab side came out in the second half creating plenty of chances but just couldn't score.

The visitors wrapped up the win with the last kick of the game when Graham Steward hit a shot from the edge of the box which hit one post then the other before nestling in the net for 2-0 and the 3 points were secured by Burton.
