Quest for Promotion
Punjab made one change to the starting line up to the team that were beaten unluckily in the NFA Quarter Final of the lower Junior Cup on penalties.
Skipper Paul Hetherington was ruled out with a knee injury with Michael Chong restored to the starting line up after being cup tied against Peterborough Silver Jubilee.
Great Doddington came into this fixture on the back of a great 2-1 win over Weavers Old Boys.

Punjab produced a very professional workmanlike performance to come away with 3 vital points in there quest for promotion.
Great Doddington created at least 3 good chances in the first half which were well thwarted by Gary Park, Ahmet Huseyin and Bobby Bhandal.
The best chance for the visitors came via a corner which was hooked off the line at the end of the first half.
Punjab came out in the second half with a fresh approach and rightly scored when Michael Chong teed up man of the moment Gary Wilson to score with a neat finish into the bottom corner for his third goal in as man y games.
The home side were then awarded a dubious penalty which they scored from to make it 1-1.

Punjab then produced a great counter attack when Pitra,Kent and Cox worked a brilliant opening that Michael Chong finished for his fourth of the season in just three games.
Andrew Cox then finished things off when he followed up a Michael Chong effort to score his 20th of the season.
Punjab also gave a substitution debut to 15 year old Govinder Shergill for the last few minutes.
Man Of the Match:- Gary Park - Very solid performance at the heart of the defence to keep the home side out in the early exchanges.
