KHALSA BEATEN BY MEDBOURNE AS CHANCES GO BEGGING

Khalsa 0 Medbourne 2

HT 0-0

Khalsa spurned a host of first half chances to take a grip of the game before finally losing.
Andrew Cox hit the crossbar, Stephen Miller struck the post and Wilson and Cox went close before Cox fed Miller whose effort was straight at the keeper.
However Medbourne struck with 20 minutes to go when a free kick was met by there towering frontman to make it 1-0.
Khalsa then had two penalty appeals turned down before a long range shot by Medbourne struck there frontman and looped over the keeper to wrap the points up for them.
All in all a steady performance but lacking a cutting edge up top.

Team:- Everitt, Lindsay, Carr(c), Saini, Spencer, Mcluckie, Wilson(a), Noble, Malone, Cox, Miller (subs:- Gasson for Spencer).
