Punjab were denied a victory in there second pre-season fixture by Ringstead Rangers.

Punjab went ahead when Julian Millington took a nice give and go from Micheal Chong to fire Punjab in front in the 13th minute.
The hosts equalised when an unfortunate clearance by Punjab's Gary Park was headed in to make it 1-1.
Punjab made it 2-1 when sub Andrew Cox teed up Michael Chong to roll the ball into the bottom left corner to put Punjab in the lead again.
Ringstead then netted from some bad punjab marking to make it 2-2.

Punjab then scored the goal of the game when Bethel Ofoshune took a ball from Victor Carvalho before playing a 20yard cross field ball to Julian Millington whose first time flick header to Andrew Cox who smashed it into the net for 3-2.

The scoring finally finished when a 2nd own goal by Punjab gifted Ringstead a draw, this time Jazz Saini being the unfortunate one when he beat the striker to the ball but lifted it over Bobby in the goal.

All in all a good performance and the side is looking positive...next up Islip United (Away on the 12th August 2008)
