Team news for the fixture showed the return of rested trio Duncan Homer, Simon Kent and Gary Park all restored to the starting line up.
Punjab travelled to the countryside to pick up 3 vital points in there pursuit of promotion against Cold Ashby Rovers with a good 4-2 win.
Punjab took the lead inside 4 minutes when Duncan Homer curled home a direct corner to put the visitors in front.

Skipper Paul Hetherington then supplied the pass that put the visitors 2-0 up with a superb 40 yard ball that picked out Michael Chong who clipped the ball over the keeper then rolled the ball into the empty net for 2-0.
Paul Hetherington then hit a shot from the edge of the box that the keeper couldnt hold that enabled Andrew Cox to hammer home for his 23rd goal of the season.
Cold Ashby somehow got a foothold back into the game with two goals in the last 5 minutes of the first half to go in 3-2 down at the break.
With chances going begging from both sides in the second half Punjab scored the all important fourth goal when Andrew Cox beat 4 men before laying the ball into Hassan Mumin,he put the ball back into the danger zone and Andrew Cox showed great composure before finding the bottom left corner for 4-2 with his 24th goal of the campaign.
